Spider-Man: No Way Home Review: Here’s How ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Is Before Going To The Movies

Priyanka Singh, Mumbai Bureau. Spider-Man: No Way, the 27th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has been released in home theaters. The film is the third installment in the Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home series. The story of the film starts from where the previous film Spider-Man: Far From Home ended. In the previous film, Mysterio (Jake Gianl) recorded a video revealing that Peter Parker (Tom Holland) was the real Spider-Man. Now the whole town knows the truth about Peter. People are thinking of Peter as a murderer. Peter, his girlfriend Michelle Jonas aka MJ (Zendeya) and friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) are not getting admission in any college because of this.

Peter thinks that if he erases everyone’s memory, then life can go back to normal. He enlists the help of Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for this. Dr. Strays tries to work magic with his powers, but in the meantime, Peter’s words go awry. The Green Goblin (William Defoe), Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), Elektro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church) and Lizard (Ris Ifans) return from different universes. Dr. Strange wants to send these supervillains back to their world, but Peter refuses to do so. He thinks he will be killed in the old universe, why not give him a chance to be a good person again. The film’s writers Chris McKenna, Eric Somers try to incorporate supervillains from another universe into the story. These villains are taken from the Spider-Man trilogy released between 2002-2004 and The Amazing Spider-Man series released between 2012-2014.

The most special was the arrival of Spider-Man of both these films i.e. Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the film. The director of the film, John, has maintained the synergy of all three Spider-Mans with the old supervillains. Efforts have been made to give screenspace to each character. One thing that stands out is that the film doesn’t show the back story of these supervillains and the characters of Spider-Man aka Peter Parker from the previous films. The film will be hard to understand for those who haven’t seen the previous Spider-Man movies. Well, the duration of the film is similarly longer than the typical Hollywood films, so the writers would have to work hard to go into the back story. The special effects of the film are excellent as expected. t

The method shown to send supervillains back to their universe could have been better. An attempt has also been made to convey the message of superhero films in this film that great power brings with it many responsibilities. The superhero of this film also performs these responsibilities at the end of the film. The last two Spider-Man’s uninformed scenes from the Avengers have become fun. The mirror dimensional action scene between Peter and Dr. Strange gives goosebumps. The presence of Tom, Toby, Andrew all three actors in the character of Spiderman makes the film exciting. It is interesting to see all three in the same frame on screen. William Defoe retained his freshness in the character of the Green Goblin even after 19 years. Zendaya and Jacob have got more screenspace than the previous film. Benedict has assimilated the character of Dr. Strange. The film’s climax also hints at building the film around the mess caused by Dr. Strange’s magic in another universe.
